CountAI is a deep-tech company building AI-powered cameras, edge-AI systems and computer-vision products for industrial applications.

We design our own camera hardware, AI systems and software, and our products are already deployed across multiple countries.

We are now expanding beyond our existing applications and building a global product business around AI cameras, industrial vision systems and intelligent vision modules for robotics, automation and other high-growth markets.

The Role

We are looking for a Head – Business Development & Sales, AI Vision Products to build this business from the ground up.

This is a hunter + business builder role.

You will be responsible for identifying high-potential markets, finding the right customers, developing OEM relationships, generating the sales pipeline, closing strategic accounts and building the sales channel globally.

You will work directly with the founders and product/engineering teams.

The core mission:Find where CountAI can sell cameras and AI-vision products at scale, win the first customers, and build a repeatable global sales engine.

This is not a traditional sales-management role.

We are looking for someone who can personally open doors, understand customer requirements, build relationships with CXOs/CTOs, develop business cases and close deals.

Key Responsibilities1. New Business Development

Identify and develop current markets for:

- AI cameras
- Industrial cameras
- Machine-vision systems
- AI vision sensors
- Embedded camera modules
- Robotics vision
- Edge-AI products
- Industrial automation

Identify:

Market → OEM → application → existing solution → price → volume → opportunity.

2. OEM & Strategic Account Development

Build relationships with:

- Robotics OEMs
- AMR/warehouse automation companies
- Machine builders
- Industrial automation companies




- Electronics manufacturers
- Automotive suppliers
- Global technology companies
- System integrators
- Distributors

The objective is to get CountAI products designed into customers' machines and products.

3. Sales Ownership

Own the complete sales cycle:

Prospecting → qualification → technical discussion → demo → evaluation → commercial proposal → negotiation → PO → repeat orders

You will personally drive strategic accounts rather than simply manage a team.

4. International Business Development

Develop customers and partners across:

- India
- USA
- Europe
- Japan
- Korea
- Southeast Asia
- Middle East

International travel will be required.

5. Product & Market Feedback

Work closely with the product and engineering teams.

Translate customer requirements into:

- Product specifications
- Features
- Pricing
- Product roadmap
- Competitive positioning
- Applications

You should be comfortable telling the engineering team:

“Customers will pay for this, but they won't pay for that.”6. Build the Sales Channel

Develop:

- Distributors
- System integrators
- OEM partnerships
- Technology partners
- Regional sales partners

Create a scalable channel instead of relying entirely on founder-led sales.

7. Build a High-Quality Pipeline

Own:

- Revenue pipeline
- Strategic accounts
- Forecast
- Conversion rates
- Sales cycle
- Average selling price
- Customer acquisition cost
- Repeat orders

You will be measured primarily on revenue and customer acquisition, not number of meetings.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
