F&B; Service Associate

About the Role

Bloom is looking for an F&B; Service Associate to join our hotel team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction, has an interest in food and hospitality, and can work comfortably in a busy restaurant environment.

You will be responsible for assisting guests with their dining experience while supporting the restaurant team with smooth and productive service.

What You'll Be DoingGuest & Dining Experience

- Welcome guests and assist them with seating as required.
- Understand guest preferences and provide attentive service throughout their meal.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, and available options when required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the relevant team.
- Check with guests during their meal to ensure their requirements are being met.
- Respond to guest requests in a polite and timely manner.
- Handle basic guest concerns and inform the supervisor when further assistance is required.

Restaurant Service

- Prepare tables and the service area before the start of operations.
- Ensure tables are properly set with the required cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other service items.
- Serve food and beverages according to the hotel's service standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the dining and service areas.
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and service when required.
- Support opening and closing activities of the restaurant.

Coordination & Order Management

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are communicated correctly.
- Keep track of pending orders and follow up with the kitchen when required.
- Coordinate with the team regarding special requests, dietary requirements, or modifications.
- Communicate any service delays or guest concerns to the supervisor promptly.




- Assist colleagues during busy service periods to maintain smooth operations.

Billing & Service Procedures

- Prepare or assist with guest bills as per the hotel's process.
- Verify order details before presenting bills to guests.
- Handle payments responsibly and follow established cash-handling procedures.
- Ensure service-related records and checklists are completed accurately.

Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates with previous experience in hotel restaurants, cafés, QSRs, or other food service environments will have an added advantage.
