QA Engineer
Experience: 2–4 Years

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in QA practices, hands-on experience with test case design and execution, and working knowledge of automation frameworks. You will work closely with senior team members while progressively building expertise in automation-first and AI-assisted testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual and automation testing across web and/or mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications and/or Appium + WebdriverIO for mobile applications.
- Work with JavaScript/Node.js for test automation.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Prioritise defects based on severity, impact, and business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and senior QA engineers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Follow established SDLC, STLC, and Agile processes.
- Contribute to increasing automation coverage and improving overall testing efficiency.
- Support release validation and help identify potential quality risks before production deployment.
- Explore and effectively use AI-assisted tools to improve test creation, execution, analysis, and defect identification.
- Maintain transparent and well-documented testing reports, results, and quality metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in QA/testing, with exposure to both manual and automation testing.
- Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect management.
- Working knowledge of automation using:
- Playwright for web applications, and/or
- Appium + WebdriverIO for mobile applications.
- Hands-on or working knowledge of JavaScript/Node.js.
- Good understanding of Defect Lifecycle, defect prioritisation, and reporting.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to adopt and experiment with AI tools for software testing and QA workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Basic exposure to performance testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
- Basic understanding of security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
- Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
- Basic understanding of database testing and SQL.
- Experience working in client-facing, consulting, or project delivery environments.
- Exposure to modern QA practices and automation-first testing approaches.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
