Housekeeping OJT – HM

Role: Housekeeping OJT (On-the-Job Trainee)
Qualification: Hotel Management (HM)
Experience: Freshers / 0–1 year

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in daily housekeeping operations.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas.
- Make beds and arrange linen, towels, and amenities.
- Clean bathrooms, floors, furniture, and other room areas.
- Assist in room setup and ensure proper presentation.
- Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged items to the supervisor.
- Assist with guest requests related to housekeeping.
- Follow hotel SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with other departments when required.
- Learn and follow professional housekeeping practices.

Required Skills:

- Hotel Management qualification or pursuing HM course.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping operations.
- Valuable communication and guest-handling skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good grooming and professional behaviour.
- Attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Teamwork and time management.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
