Heavy Duty Racks Design Engineer

Experience: 2–4 Years

Job Responsibilities:

- Design heavy-duty racks, pallet racks, and warehouse storage systems.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar software.
- Develop rack layouts based on customer requirements and site dimensions.
- Perform structural calculations and load capacity analysis.
- Select suitable materials, sections, and components.
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and safety requirements.
- Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with production, sales, and installation teams.
- Modify designs based on site conditions and project requirements.
- Check drawings for dimensions, tolerances, and accuracy.
- Support prototype development and design improvements.
- Provide technical solutions for design and installation issues.
- Maintain drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents.
- Ensure cost-effective, safe, and practical rack designs.





Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in industrial/racking design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; SolidWorks/3D modelling knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of structural design, load calculations, and material selection.
- Good understanding of heavy-duty rack components and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and preparation of BOMs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of relevant rack design and safety standards is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
