Gas Cutter – Job Description

Position: Gas Cutter
Location: Rourkela, Odisha
Industry: Fabrication / Industrial

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform gas cutting of MS plates, sheets, pipes, structures, and other metal components.
- Operate oxy-acetylene/oxy-fuel cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and understand basic drawings, measurements, and cutting marks.
- Ensure accurate cutting as per required dimensions.
- Maintain proper cutting quality and minimize material wastage.
- Check gas cylinders, hoses, regulators, and cutting equipment before use.
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the work area.
- Coordinate with welders, fitters, and supervisors during fabrication work.

Requirements:

- ITI/technical qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in gas cutting/fabrication preferred.
- Knowledge of oxy-fuel cutting equipment.
- Ability to work in an industrial/fabrication environment.
- Good understanding of workplace safety.

Welder – Job Description

Position: Welder
Location: Rourkela, Odisha
Industry: Fabrication / Industrial

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform welding work on MS plates, pipes,



structures, and fabricated components.
- Perform ARC/MMA welding and other welding processes as required.
- Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Prepare, align, and tack components before welding.
- Ensure proper weld quality, strength, and finishing.
- Identify and rectify welding defects such as cracks, porosity, and undercut.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, electrodes, cables, and accessories.
- Follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Coordinate with fitters, gas cutters, and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and secure working area.

Requirements:

- ITI Welder or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience in fabrication/industrial welding preferred.
- Knowledge of ARC/MMA welding.
- Ability to work with MS structures and plates.
- Good knowledge of welding safety and equipment handling.

For both positions: Candidates with relevant experience in industrial/fabrication work will be preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
