Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, a keen eye for identifying issues, and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of Quality Assurance.

As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to understand application requirements, execute test cases, identify defects, and support the overall software quality process.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand project requirements and functional specifications.
- Assist the QA team in preparing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
- Identify, document, and report software defects/bugs.
- Perform regression, functional, usability, and basic exploratory testing.
- Retest resolved defects and verify fixes.
- Participate in requirement discussions and team meetings.
- Maintain proper testing documentation and reports.
- Assist in API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Perform basic database validation using SQL, when required.
- Work closely with developers and QA team members to understand and resolve testing issues.
- Follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Continuously learn new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Required Skills





- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Basic knowledge of Manual Testing.
- Ability to understand requirements and prepare basic test scenarios/test cases.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Good to Have

- Basic knowledge of API Testing.
- Familiarity with Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Knowledge of bug/defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Eligibility

- Graduate or pursuing graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–6 months of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with academic projects or basic hands-on experience in software testing will be preferred.
