Post- Shift Supervisor - Production

Qualification- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering

Experience - 2-4 years

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

· Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production to achieve output targets and delivery deadlines.

· Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action to improve production performance.

· Allocate and optimize manpower, machines, and materials to support efficient operations.

· Lead shop-floor employees: assign tasks, provide feedback, support performance reviews, and promote teamwork and discipline.

· Train employees on production processes, SOPs, safety requirements, and TPM practices.

· Ensure products meet quality standards; collaborate with Quality teams to address defects and reduce rejection rates.

· Enforce EHS requirements, including safety briefings, PPE use,



risk prevention, and compliance with applicable standards.

· Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, 5S, waste reduction, cost control, and process or automation improvements.

· Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability and OEE.

Maintain production logs and reports, including plan-versus-actual results and monthly MRM reporting; track output, efficiency, downtime, quality, labor productivity, safety, and on-time delivery KPIs.
