Job Description: Accessories Merchandiser – Textile Showroom

Position: Accessories Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities

- Manage merchandising for fashion accessories in the textile showroom.
- Identify and develop new accessories based on current fashion trends and customer preferences.
- Coordinate with designers, suppliers, and vendors for new products.
- Source accessories such as bags, jewellery, belts, hair accessories, footwear, scarves, and other fashion items.
- Follow up on samples, orders, production, delivery, and quality.
- Check product quality, design, finishing, and pricing.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Maintain product details, SKU, pricing, and inventory records.
- Coordinate with the showroom team for proper product display and availability.
- Study market trends and competitor products to introduce new collections.
- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.




- Support visual merchandising and attractive presentation of accessories.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in accessories merchandising, fashion merchandising, textile retail, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of fashion accessories and current trends.
- Strong vendor and supplier coordination skills.
- Good understanding of product sourcing, costing, and inventory.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong follow-up and attention to detail.
- Experience in a textile showroom will be an added advantage.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
