We work closely with corporates and MSMEs to help them strengthen their credit profile, improve their understanding of credit requirements and enhance their funding readiness.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Credit Rating Analyst with 2–4 years of experience in a Credit Rating Agency, Bank, NBFC or Corporate Credit function.

The ideal candidate should have robust skills in credit assessment, financial analysis and credit-note writing, along with excellent communication, presentation and client-handling abilities.

This is a client-facing role and the candidate will work closely with senior management and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Analysis & Assessment

- Analyse financial statements, cash flows and debt structure of corporates.
- Assess business, industry, management and financial risks.
- Analyse key credit ratios including leverage, debt coverage, liquidity and working capital.
- Conduct peer benchmarking and industry analysis.
- Evaluate repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness.
- Identify key credit strengths, weaknesses, risks and mitigants.
- Develop an independent credit view on the company.

Credit Note & Report Writing

- Prepare detailed credit assessment notes and financial analysis reports.




- Convert financial and business information into a clear and concise credit narrative.
- Prepare management presentations and client-specific analysis.
- Review financial projections and assess their reasonableness.
- Support preparation of rating-related documents and submissions.

Client Interaction

- Interact with CFOs, Finance Heads, promoters and senior management of client companies.
- Understand client businesses and obtain information required for credit assessment.
- Conduct structured discussions with clients to understand business, financial and credit-related issues.
- Follow up with clients for information and clarification.
- Explain financial analysis and credit observations to clients in a clear manner.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

Presentation & Communication

- Present credit assessment findings to senior management and clients.
- Participate in management meetings and client discussions.
- Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and analytical reports.
- Communicate analytical findings confidently, both verbally and in writing.

Research & Problem Solving

- Conduct industry and sector research.
- Track developments affecting client businesses.
- Identify gaps,



inconsistencies and potential risks in financial information.
- Develop practical solutions and recommendations based on the credit assessment.

Candidate Profile

- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Credit Rating Agencies / Banks / NBFCs / Corporate Credit / Credit Research.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate credit.
- Experience in financial analysis, credit appraisal or rating analysis.
- Ability to independently prepare a credit note/report.
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Professional, presentable and confident personality.
- Ability to interact comfortably with senior management and clients.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.

Preferred Background

Candidates currently or previously working with:

Credit Rating Agencies | Corporate Banking | Credit Appraisal | NBFCs | Credit Research

Experience in corporate/bank-loan ratings will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Economics or Management.

CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) will be an advantage.
