Role Overview

Responsible for testing, validation, integration and troubleshooting of EV 2-wheeler powertrain components and systems to meet performance, safety, quality and reliability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Test and validate Motor, Motor Controller, Battery/BMS, Charger and DC-DC Converter.
- Prepare Test Plans, Test Cases, DVP&R;, Test Procedures and Reports.
- Perform functional, performance, thermal, protection and endurance testing.
- Validate voltage, current, RPM, torque, power, efficiency and temperature.
- Test CAN/CAN FD communication, signals, DTCs and diagnostics.
- Perform component, subsystem and vehicle-level integration testing.




- Conduct vehicle tests for range, acceleration, top speed, gradeability, thermal and endurance.
- Perform battery charging/discharging and BMS function validation.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, CAN, sensor, wiring and powertrain faults.
- Use DMM, oscilloscope, power analyzer, CAN tools and data logger.
- Analyze test data and perform RCA, 8D/CAPA for failures.
- Track issues and coordinate with Motor, Controller, Battery, Firmware, Vehicle Integration and Quality teams.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in EV Powertrain Testing & Validation / R&D.;
- Valuable understanding of EV 2-wheeler powertrain architecture.
- Hands-on knowledge of Motor, Controller, Battery/BMS, charger, and DC-DC.
- Knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, DTCs, sensors and wiring harness.
- Good troubleshooting and test-data analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

- CANoe / CANalyzer / PCAN.
- UDS / J1939.
- Motor dyno and battery test equipment.
- DVP&R; / FMEA / RCA / 8D / CAPA.
- Basic MATLAB/Simulink and Excel.
