Associate – Quality Assurance (WH)
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and quality-focused professional to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will help ensure that incoming materials, components, and products consistently meet our quality standards and customer expectations.
You will work closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers, customers, and other internal stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues, improve processes, reduce defects and waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Manage and resolve quality-related issues arising from internal processes, suppliers, customers, and warranty concerns.
- Identify root causes of quality problems and implement effective, long-term corrective actions.
- Work closely with internal and external teams to resolve issues quickly while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Conduct product and process audits and ensure quality procedures are followed effectively.
- Maintain control plans and related quality documentation.
- Track and report quality KPIs such as scrap, rework, PPM, and other quality metrics.
- Take appropriate action, including stopping production when unacceptable products or processes are identified.
- Support compliance with the Quality Management System, including ISO 9001 requirements.
- Develop product test procedures and support first-off sample approvals.
- Support quality awareness and training initiatives across the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using approaches such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke, and other quality tools.
- Participate in new product development and product/process improvement projects.
- Support the development and review of Design and Process FMEAs.
- Monitor and manage supplier quality KPIs, including supplier PPM, problem-solving timelines, cost recovery, and warranty performance.
- Lead and participate in quality audits and improvement activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify best practices and improve manufacturing processes.
- Prepare reports, present project progress, and communicate key quality updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support effective problem-solving.
- Plan and manage assigned projects or activities to achieve agreed goals within budget and timelines.
Working With People
- Work closely with technicians, engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, customers, and other departments.
- Provide guidance and support to team members.
- Support training and quality awareness across the organization.
- Participate in regular quality and inspection meetings and help develop action plans for improving build quality.
- Communicate clearly and effectively across the shop floor and with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- B.Tech/B.E. in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment,
preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, and/or Lean Manufacturing.
- Good understanding of quality systems and measurement techniques.
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001; understanding of ISO 14001 and Health & Safety practices is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Good communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
