Panse Lasers is a Pune-based company specializing in UV flatbed printing, laser cutting and engraving, and CNC router work. We serve customers across signage, branding, gifting, industrial, and custom fabrication needs, and we are growing our design team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Production Designer who can understand customer requirements and convert them into accurate, production-ready files for our UV printers, laser cutters, and CNC routers. You will be the link between the customer's idea and the machine, so the files you prepare directly decide the quality of the final product.

Key Responsibilities

- Discuss and analyze customer requirements, including size, material, finish, quantity, and application
- Prepare print-ready artwork for UV flatbed printing, including color setup, white ink and varnish layers, and registration
- Create cutting and engraving files for laser machines, with correct vector paths, line types, and layer settings
- Prepare toolpath-ready drawings and files for CNC router jobs
- Suggest suitable materials, design changes, or process options when a design is not practical for the machine
- Check and correct customer-supplied files (resolution, bleed, fonts, vector cleanup, image retouching)
- Create mockups and proofs for customer approval
- Work with machine operators to resolve file issues and reduce wastage and rework
- Maintain an organized library of design files and job records

Essential Skills (Must Have)

- CorelDRAW: strong working knowledge for vector design, file setup, tracing, and preparing cutting and printing files
- Adobe Photoshop:



solid working knowledge for image editing, retouching, resolution and color correction, and preparing raster artwork for printing
- Hands-on experience working with at least one of: UV printing machines, laser cutting/engraving machines, or CNC router machines
- Proven experience creating design files for production (not just visual design)
- Clear understanding of vector vs. raster files, color modes, and file preparation for machines
- Good understanding of materials such as acrylic, wood, MDF, ACP, metal, glass, and leather, and how they behave on different machines
- Attention to detail and ability to work with accurate dimensions

Good to Have

- Adobe Illustrator
- Familiarity with machine software such as LaserCut, LightBurn, RDWorks, ArtCAM, Aspire, or RIP software
- Experience with 3D relief or 2.5D design for CNC routing
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Basic knowledge of machine operation and settings
- Experience handling customer communication directly

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in design, graphic design, mechanical, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong CorelDRAW, Photoshop, and machine-file experience may also apply)
