ZegalWorks is building a new way for small and growing businesses to manage their legal, compliance and financial requirements.

Instead of functioning as a traditional service provider, our vision is to become an extended in-house legal and finance team for businesses — helping founders manage their day-to-day legal, compliance and business documentation needs through an ongoing support model.

We are looking for a motivated Legal Intern who wants practical exposure to corporate and commercial legal work and enjoys working in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You Will Work On

- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial and business laws.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing agreements, contracts, NDAs and business documents.
- Prepare legal research notes, checklists and internal documentation.
- Assist with company law and statutory compliance activities.
- Support trademark and intellectual property related research and documentation.
- Assist in preparing client-facing legal documents under supervision.
- Organize and maintain legal records and documentation.
- Track compliance requirements and important deadlines.
- Research regulatory requirements applicable to startups and SMEs.
- Work with the legal team to understand real-world business problems and develop practical legal solutions.

What We Are Looking For

- Currently pursuing or recently completed LL.B / B.L / BBA LL.B / equivalent law degree.
- Strong interest in corporate, commercial and business law.
- Good legal research and drafting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong attention to detail.




- Comfortable working with Google Workspace / Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Startup mindset — proactive, curious and willing to work across different areas of business law.

This is not a traditional internship where you only observe legal work.
