Job Summary

PECON SOFTWARE LIMITED is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Network & CCTV Supervisor to oversee and maintain networking infrastructure and CCTV surveillance systems.

The candidate will be responsible for network and CCTV installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and supervision of technical activities at office and project/client locations.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, IP cameras, NVR/DVR, PoE switches, structured cabling, and network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and maintain network and CCTV infrastructure at office and project locations.
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IP CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR systems, and surveillance networks.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, PoE switches, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and related networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, IP addressing, camera connectivity, recording, and remote-access issues.
- Monitor CCTV systems and ensure cameras and recording systems remain operational.




- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of CCTV and networking equipment.
- Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, basic VLAN configuration, and network connectivity.
- Handle UTP/network cabling, RJ45 termination, patch panels, and basic fiber-optic infrastructure.
- Diagnose hardware, connectivity, and communication failures and ensure timely resolution.
- Supervise technicians and coordinate field-level technical activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and client representatives whenever required.
- Maintain equipment inventory, network diagrams, CCTV camera lists, and maintenance records.
- Prepare technical reports, service reports, and regular status updates.
- Ensure proper implementation of company/client IT and security-system requirements.
- Travel to client/project locations within Kolkata and other locations when required.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of computer networking and CCTV systems.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and basic network security.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, managed switches, PoE switches, and Wi-Fi devices.
- Hands-on experience with IP cameras, NVR, DVR, CCTV monitoring, and remote viewing.
- Knowledge of CCTV networking and camera configuration.
- Knowledge of UTP/STP cabling, RJ45 termination, patch panels, and structured cabling.
- Basic understanding of fiber-optic networking will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to supervise technicians and manage multiple technical activities.




- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with project teams and clients.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. / ITI in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
- CCNA, Network+, CCTV, or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in networking, CCTV surveillance, IT infrastructure, system support, or a similar technical role.

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in both Networking and CCTV will be preferred.

- Technically strong with good hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Responsible and capable of independently handling technical issues.
- Comfortable working at client/project locations.
- Willing to travel when required.
- Good team-management and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.

Salary

₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience, technical skills, and interview performance.
