Job Summary

Eco Friendly Tech Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable backend systems and APIs.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of server-side programming, databases, API development, authentication, and application architecture. The candidate will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other technical teams to build efficient and high-performing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and server-side systems.
- Design and develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Build and maintain backend services, business logic, and application modules.
- Integrate backend services with front-end applications and third-party platforms.
- Design, develop, and optimize databases for application requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and security practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve backend bugs and production issues.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code optimization.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure smooth API and application integration.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and software design decisions.
- Use Git/GitHub or other version-control systems for source-code management.
- Maintain technical documentation related to APIs, database structures, and application processes.




- Deploy and maintain backend applications across development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues when required.
- Stay updated with backend technologies, frameworks, security practices, and development standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in Backend Development or Software Development.
- Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language and framework.
- Good understanding of database design, SQL, APIs, and server-side development.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.




- Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and version control.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the development team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work from the office.
