Designation: Design Executive – NX & AutoCAD

1. Job Purpose

To create, modify, and maintain accurate 2D and 3D engineering designs using Siemens UGNX and AutoCAD, ensuring designs meet technical requirements, manufacturing feasibility, quality standards, and project timelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using Siemens NX.
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings, layouts, and detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop designs based on product requirements, concepts, samples, sketches, and engineering specifications.
- Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and detailed production drawings.
- Ensure proper dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, material specifications, surface finish, and other technical details in drawings.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, R&D;, and Project teams for design-related requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing, fabrication, machining, and assembly.
- Conduct design reviews and identify potential manufacturing or assembly issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings and 3D models.
- Support prototype development, trials, testing, and design improvements.




- Prepare drawings and technical documents within defined project timelines.
- Maintain proper records of all design files, revisions, and approvals.

3. Required Technical Skills

- Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling and assembly design.
- Understanding of engineering drawing standards.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and dimensions.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, sheet metal, welding, and assembly.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Positive understanding of materials and basic mechanical engineering concepts.

4. Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

5. Experience

Experience: 1 – 1.5 years in mechanical/product design.

Candidates with hands-on experience in NX and AutoCAD and manufacturing-oriented design will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
