Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Prepare electrical layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/trunking layouts, lighting layouts, earthing and lightning protection layouts.
- Develop accurate cable tray routing and cable containment systems based on design requirements.
- Coordinate electrical models with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping and Architectural disciplines.
- Identify and resolve clashes/interdisciplinary coordination issues using Navisworks or equivalent software.
- Prepare GA drawings, sections, details and installation drawings from BIM models.
- Incorporate engineering design changes and maintain model revisions.
- Extract BIM quantities, schedules and BOQ-related information from the model.
- Coordinate with site teams to incorporate as-built information into BIM models.
- Support preparation of shop drawings and construction documentation.
