The Tax Manager will be a critical leader within our tax practice, responsible for overseeing and managing complex tax engagements for a diverse client base. This role primarily focuses on the preparation and review of partnership (Form 1065), corporate (Form 1120), and individual (Form 1040) tax returns. The Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert tax advice, planning, and compliance services. This position requires a strong technical background in tax law, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating intricate tax scenarios, developing junior staff, and contributing to the growth of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and review complex federal and state income tax returns for partnerships (Form 1065), corporations (Form 1120), and high-net-worth individuals (Form 1040).
- Oversee the entire tax engagement process, from planning and preparation to review and filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.




- Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain solid client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, including delegating tasks, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
- Conduct thorough tax research on complex technical issues and effectively communicate findings to clients and team members.
- Represent clients before tax authorities during audits and examinations, preparing necessary documentation and correspondence.
- Stay current with changes in tax law and regulations, assessing their impact on clients and the firm.
- Collaborate with partners and other managers to enhance firm processes, develop new service offerings, and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Manage engagement budgets, billing, and collections to ensure profitability and efficiency.
