Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CNC VMC Maintenance / Service Engineer to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of CNC/VMC machines in a machine-shop production setting.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine maintenance and should be capable of independently identifying and resolving machine breakdowns and maintenance-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC and VMC machines.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, electronic, mechanical and machine-related issues.
- Diagnose machine breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
- Handle regular servicing and maintenance of CNC/VMC machines.
- Attend to machine alarms, faults and operational issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
- Identify recurring machine problems and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure maximum machine availability.
- Support installation,
commissioning and servicing of CNC/VMC machines when required.
- Ensure proper functioning of machine electrical and control systems.
- Maintain required maintenance tools, spares and service records.
- Follow company safety and maintenance procedures.
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience in CNC / VMC machine maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of CNC machine electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience working in a machine shop / CNC production environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve machine breakdowns independently.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Practical, hands-on approach to machine servicing and troubleshooting.
Preferred
- Experience with CNC/VMC controllers and machine control systems.
- Experience in CNC production/manufacturing companies.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
