Roles and Responsibilities - ECN & BOM ManagementManage Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and ensure timely implementation in productionUpdate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) in ERP/PLM systemsVerify part numbers, revisions, and change details before releaseCoordinate with design, production, quality, and planning teams for ECN closureEnsure proper version control and documentation of BOM and ECN recordsAnalyze impact of changes on inventory, production, and customersTrack ECN status and ensure effective communication to all stakeholdersSupport NPI by creating and validating BOM structuresAvoid material mix-ups by ensuring correct revision controlMaintain traceability of changes for audit and compliance requirementsSupport audits and ensure documentation readinessDrive continuous improvement in ECN and BOM management processes
