Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Manager with 2–5 years of relevant experience in Blow Moulding, preferably from the plastic manufacturing or water tank industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, blow moulding operations, manpower, machine efficiency, quality, production targets and overall shop-floor performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise daily production activities related to blow moulding operations.
- Handle and monitor blow moulding machines and production processes.
- Ensure achievement of daily and monthly production targets.
- Monitor machine performance, cycle time, productivity and downtime.
- Ensure proper machine settings, mould changes and process parameters.
- Supervise and manage production operators and technicians.
- Allocate manpower effectively according to production requirements.
- Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Ensure production of water tanks according to quality and production specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Dispatch departments.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action.
- Monitor rejection, rework and material wastage.
- Maintain production records,



shift reports and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine breakdowns.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices on the production floor.
- Train and guide production team members.
- Implement measures to improve productivity and production efficiency.
- Report production performance and issues to the Plant Head / Management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, Plastics or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in blow moulding / plastic manufacturing.
- Hands-on knowledge of blow moulding machines and processes.
- Experience in HDPE products or water tank manufacturing will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of machine settings, mould changes and process parameters.
- Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with 2–5 years of experience in Blow Moulding will be considered.
- Experience in manufacturing large-size plastic products, HDPE water tanks, drums or similar products will be an added advantage.
- Should have good practical knowledge of production processes and be capable of independently handling shop-floor operations.
- Robust leadership and communication skills.

Compensation

₹50,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.

Job Location: Selzer Polymers Ltd., Mundur, Thrissur, Kerala.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
