Job Description:

We are seeking a creative, self-motivated Junior Architect to join our team at our furniture showroom/studio in Edappally. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and sales—helping clients visualize how our furniture and custom decor fit into their homes, while guiding them through the selection and buying process.

If you have a passion for furniture, spatial design, and engaging directly with customers, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail interior design, client management, and custom furniture customization.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome walk-in clients, architects, and interior designer clients to the Edappally studio.
- Understand client requirements, floor plans, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
- Offer expert interior design advice, color palette recommendations, and material selection (wood types, upholstery fabrics, finishes).
- Perform site visits across Kochi/Ernakulam when needed to take precise measurements and assess space layout
- Design & Visualization
- Translate customer floor plans into functional furniture layouts and 2D/3D visualizations (using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit).
- Prepare mood boards, material swatches, and custom furniture shop drawings for client approval.




- Propose custom furniture modifications when standard inventory does not fit the space.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Architecture (B.Arch / Dip. Arch) or Interior Design.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Enscape).
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication in Malayalam and English; strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
- Spatial Sense: Keen understanding of furniture ergonomics, space planning, materials, and joinery details.

Preferred Attributes

- Local knowledge of Ernakulam/Kochi residential interior design trends.
- Ability to work weekends (retail showroom hours with a scheduled weekday off).
- Valid two-wheeler driving license for local site visits.
