- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill surgical patients.
- Monitor patients vital signs, neurological status, and overall clinical condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during procedures and emergency interventions.
- Monitor and manage patients before and after major surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and other critical-care devices.
- Identify and promptly report any changes in the patient’s condition.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices and maintain ICU safety standards
- Assist with emergency care, resuscitation,
and other critical interventions.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate and support patients’ relatives regarding patient care when required.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety protocols
