We are looking for a skilled PCB Designer / Hardware Design Engineer to design and develop reliable, production-ready electronic circuit boards for industrial and IoT applications.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in multi-layer PCB design, schematic development, PCB layout, component selection, and hardware debugging. Experience with Modbus and MQTT communication protocols is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop multi-layer PCBs for industrial and IoT applications.
- Create circuit schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar.
- Design high-quality PCB layouts considering signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal management, and manufacturability.
- Work with 2-layer, 4-layer, 6-layer, and higher-layer PCB designs as required.
- Select appropriate electronic components based on performance, cost, availability, and reliability.
- Design interfaces for UART, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI, and other communication interfaces.
- Work with Modbus RTU/TCP communication and understand its implementation in embedded/industrial systems.
- Work with MQTT communication for IoT/cloud-connected devices.
- Collaborate with embedded firmware engineers to integrate hardware and software requirements.
- Perform PCB design reviews, generate Gerber, BOM, Pick-and-Place, and manufacturing files.
- Support PCB prototype bring-up, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve hardware issues during development and production.
- Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and assembly vendors for DFM/DFA improvements.
- Maintain proper documentation for schematics, PCB layouts, revisions,



and engineering changes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Hands-on experience with multi-layer PCB design and layout.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design software.
- Good understanding of power supply circuits, microcontrollers, sensors, communication interfaces, and protection circuits.
- Knowledge of RS-485 and Modbus RTU/TCP.
- Understanding of MQTT and IoT communication architecture.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, DRC, DFM, and component footprints.
- Ability to read and understand datasheets and application notes.
- Experience with hardware testing and debugging using multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
- Good problem-solving and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing PCBs for industrial automation, IoT, or embedded systems.
- Experience with Ethernet and TCP/IP-based communication.
- Experience with EMC/EMI design and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or other microcontrollers.
- Experience taking a product from schematic → PCB → prototype → testing → production.
- Experience working with PCB assembly and manufacturing vendors.
