Job Summary

Keventers Venture Ltd. is looking for an experienced, agile, and results-driven Store Manager to take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations and business performance of our Tollygunge outlet in Kolkata.

The Store Manager will be responsible for overall store operations, sales, team leadership, inventory management, customer experience, cash management, compliance, and profitability. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and the ability to independently manage a high-volume outlet.

Key ResponsibilitiesOverall Store Management

- Take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the outlet.
- Ensure smooth opening, operating, and closing of the store.
- Develop and implement effective operational practices in line with company SOPs.
- Monitor overall store performance and ensure operational targets are achieved.
- Ensure efficient coordination between all shifts and departments.
- Take immediate corrective action whenever operational issues arise.

Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead and manage the complete store team, including Assistant Store Managers, Shift Managers, Senior Crew Members, and Crew Members.
- Prepare manpower plans and ensure optimum staff deployment.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
- Train, coach, and develop team members for improved performance.
- Identify high-performing employees and support their career development.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Build a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team culture.

Sales & Business Performance

- Take ownership of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Drive upselling, cross-selling, and promotional activities.
- Monitor key operational and sales performance indicators.




- Develop action plans to improve sales and outlet profitability.
- Ensure company promotions and marketing campaigns are executed effectively.
- Report store performance and business challenges to the Area/Regional Manager.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Take overall responsibility for inventory management and stock accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Oversee stock receiving, storage, issuance, and stock movement.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconciliation.
- Monitor food/product wastage, damages, shortages, and variances.
- Implement effective measures to reduce wastage and inventory losses.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply-chain teams when required.

Cash & Financial Management

- Ensure accurate billing and POS operations.
- Supervise daily cash, card, and UPI transactions.
- Review daily sales and cash reconciliation reports.
- Ensure proper cash handling, documentation, and handover procedures.
- Investigate and report cash discrepancies.
- Monitor controllable expenses and support cost-control initiatives.

Customer Experience

- Ensure consistently high customer-service standards.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and provide appropriate resolutions.
- Identify recurring customer issues and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure service quality and operational efficiency during peak hours.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure the outlet consistently meets company hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Conduct regular operational, hygiene, and safety inspections.
- Ensure all employees follow grooming, hygiene, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures.
- Ensure equipment and store facilities are maintained properly.
- Immediately report serious safety,



maintenance, or compliance issues to senior management.
- Ensure all required licenses, records, and compliance procedures are maintained as applicable.

Reporting & Administration

- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly store reports.
- Monitor sales, inventory, wastage, manpower, attendance, and operational performance.
- Maintain accurate store documentation and records.
- Communicate regularly with the Area Manager/Regional Management.
- Ensure proper shift handovers and internal communication.
- Implement management instructions and company initiatives within the outlet.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Store/Outlet Management, preferably in FMCG, Retail, Food & Beverage, or similar operations.

Leadership: Solid leadership and people-management skills with proven ability to manage a team.

Business Acumen: Ability to understand sales, costs, targets, profitability, and operational KPIs.

Operations: Strong knowledge of store/outlet operations and SOP implementation.

Inventory: Good understanding of stock management, inventory reconciliation, wastage control, and cost management.

Cash Management: Experience with POS systems, billing, cash reconciliation, and digital payments.

Customer Service: Excellent customer-handling and problem-solving abilities.

Reporting: Good knowledge of MS Excel, POS reports, and operational reporting.

Communication: Excellent communication skills in Hindi, Bengali, or English.

Personal Qualities: Responsible, organized, proactive, target-oriented, disciplined, and capable of working under pressure.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Competitive monthly salary based on experience, skills, and interview performance.

Working Hours: Shift-based duty, including weekends and holidays as per operational requirements.

Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month
