We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer Intern to support our IT and network infrastructure team. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in network configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance while working with senior network engineers.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and network devices.
- Monitor network connectivity and performance.
- Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues.
- Assist with LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN, DNS, and DHCP configuration.
- Perform basic network testing using tools such as ping, tracert, and ipconfig.
- Maintain network documentation and IP address records.
- Support network security and access-control activities.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers.
- Follow company IT and network security procedures.
Required Skills :
- Basic understanding of Computer Networking and TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP models.
- Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting.
- Basic knowledge of routers, switches, LAN, and WAN.
- Understanding of DNS and DHCP.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and work with new networking technologies.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Kanniyakumari District, Tamil Nadu
