JOB DESCRIPTION – STAFF NURSE

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients in the ward and support Hospital Infection Control (HIC) activities. The role involves ensuring patient safety, maintaining nursing standards, promoting infection prevention practices, and supporting a safe and hygienic healthcare workplace.

Key Responsibilities Ward Nursing

- Assist doctors during patient assessments and clinical requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes, patient records, and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding medications, eye care, post-operative precautions, and follow-up instructions.
- Ensure proper patient identification, medication safety, and adherence to nursing protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of the patient-care environment.
- Report any changes in the patient's condition promptly to the concerned doctor.




- Implement and monitor infection prevention and control practices in the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with hand hygiene practices among staff and healthcare workers.
- Assist in conducting HIC audits, rounds, and compliance monitoring.
- Promote awareness and adherence to infection control protocols among healthcare staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, NABH standards, and infection control guidelines.

Candidate Profile

Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / DGNM
Experience: 3-6 Years of Experience
