JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

*Job Title:* Production Supervisor

*Experience:* 2–4 Years

*Age:* Up to 35 Years

*Salary:* ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

*Location:* Chennai

*Industry:* Manufacturing

*Employment Type:* Full time

Job Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.

* Plan and achieve daily/monthly production targets.

* Allocate manpower and monitor employee performance.

* Ensure production is completed on time with minimum wastage.

* Monitor machine operation and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.

* Ensure products meet required quality standards.

* Maintain daily production reports, machine records and shift reports.

* Coordinate with *Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Purchase* departments.

* Ensure workers follow safety procedures and company policies.

* Identify production issues and take corrective action.





* Conduct shift handover and maintain proper production records.

* Train and guide operators whenever required.

Qualification

* Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in *Mechanical, Production or related field*.

* Minimum 3 years of experience* in a manufacturing/production environment.

* Previous experience handling production workers/team is preferred.

* Knowledge of production planning, quality and shop-floor operations.

Skills Required

* Knowledge of machines and manufacturing processes

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
