Job Description:
The SAP BODS Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting data integration, migration, transformation, and data-quality solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. The role supports batch and near-real-time data movement between SAP and non-SAP systems and ensures accurate, secure, and reliable offshore delivery.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and support SAP BODS batch jobs, workflows, data flows, transformations, scripts, functions, and reusable objects.
2. Build data extraction, cleansing, validation, transformation, and loading solutions across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, HANA, databases, flat files, and third-party systems.
3. Support data migration, data conversion, master-data integration, reconciliation, error handling, restartability, and audit requirements.
4. Perform job scheduling, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, repository management, transport, and production-support activities.
5. Collaborate with functional, technical, data, infrastructure, and business teams to define mapping rules and resolve data-quality issues.
6. Prepare technical specifications, unit-test evidence, deployment documentation, operational procedures, and continuous-improvement recommendations.

Skill Requirements
1. 5 to 8 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services, data integration, ETL development, migration, and production support.
2. Expertise in BODS Designer, Management Console, repositories, data stores, jobs, workflows, data flows, transformations, scripts, functions, and error handling.
3. Experience integrating SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, HANA, relational databases, flat files, and third-party applications.
4. Strong knowledge of SQL, data profiling, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, performance tuning, scheduling, transport, and operational monitoring.
5. Experience in data-migration life cycles, technical documentation, testing, defect resolution, stakeholder communication, and offshore delivery.
