Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with 17–25 years of experience in Power Transformer / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing to manage raw material procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor development and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end raw material procurement for Power Transformer manufacturing.
- Handle procurement of CRGO, Copper, Aluminium, Steel, Transformer Oil, Insulation Materials and other critical materials.
- Develop and manage suppliers and identify alternate sources.
- Lead price negotiations, cost reduction and commercial finalization.
- Monitor commodity prices and market trends for effective procurement.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and project requirements.
- Evaluate suppliers based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
- Coordinate with Production,



Planning, Quality, Stores, Design and Finance for smooth procurement.
- Monitor Purchase Orders, delivery schedules and critical material requirements.
- Lead and guide the Purchase team.
- Drive cost-saving, vendor development and inventory optimization initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

- 17–25 years of relevant experience in Purchase / Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.
- Candidates from Power Transformer / Transformer / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industries preferred.
- Solid experience in raw material purchase and vendor management.
- Good knowledge of procurement of CRGO, Copper, Aluminium, Steel and Transformer Oil.
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience with ERP/SAP preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
