Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert manuscripts (Word, PDF, InDesign) into XML using defined DTD/Schema
- Tag content accurately as per journal/book specifications
- Validate XML files using tools and ensure error-free output
- Perform quality checks on converted files for structure and formatting
- Work on stylesheets (XSLT/CSS) for content rendering (HTML/PDF)
- Handle metadata tagging (authors, affiliations, references, etc.)
- Coordinate with QA, editors, and production teams
- Troubleshoot XML errors and ensure timely delivery
- Follow publisher-specific guidelines and workflows
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of XML, HTML, and CSS
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors degree (Any stream)
