We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and practical-oriented Retail Trainer to join our team for our skill development centre in Hooghly district. Freshers with strong domain knowledge or candidates with relevant industry/training experience are welcome to apply. The selected candidate will be responsible for imparting theoretical and practical training to students under government-sponsored skill development and vocational training initiatives in the Retail sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Delivery: Conduct classroom lectures and interactive practical sessions on retail management, customer service, visual merchandising, and point-of-sale (POS) operations.
Curriculum Management: Deliver training modules according to the prescribed course curriculum and NSQF guidelines.
Practical Guidance: Train students in retail store operations, inventory management, soft skills, grooming, and customer handling techniques.
Placement Support: Prepare candidates for mock interviews, practical assessments, and guide them toward successful job placements in the Retail/FMCG sector.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA / B.A. / B.Sc.) or Diploma in Retail Management.
Experience: Freshers with good communication and domain knowledge are welcome to apply. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in retail store operations, sales, or skill development training (e.g., PBSSD, DDU-GKY, PMKVY) will be given preference.
Skills: Good understanding of retail store operations, customer relationship management, basic computer skills, and good communication skills.
Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Hooghly district will be preferred.
Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
