Lab Technician – DoctorVerse Clinic

Location: Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram

Job type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000–₹18,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience

DoctorVerse Clinic is looking for a qualified Lab Technician with positive technical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-friendly approach.

Key responsibilities

- Collect blood and other samples safely; ensure correct patient identification, labelling, and processing.

- Perform routine haematology, biochemistry, and urine tests according to laboratory protocols.

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine quality-control checks.

- Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare reports for authorised review.





- Promptly communicate critical results to the responsible clinician as per protocol.

- Monitor reagent stock, expiry dates, and storage conditions.

- Follow infection-control, biomedical-waste disposal, and patient-confidentiality practices.

Qualifications and skills

- DMLT or B.Sc. MLT from a recognised institution.

- Competence in phlebotomy, sample handling, and routine laboratory procedures.

- Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.

- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
