We are looking for a part-time Mathematics faculty member to teach our foundation classes. These classes build robust fundamentals in school students and prepare them for higher-level and competitive mathematics. The focus is on concepts and problem-solving, not rote methods.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to foundation batches as per the assigned timetable
- Plan and deliver lessons that build conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills
- Prepare class notes, worksheets, assignments and practice problems
- Set and evaluate tests, and give students timely feedback
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and support students who need extra help
- Track student progress and share updates with the academic team
- Complete the syllabus on schedule, in coordination with other faculty
Qualifications and skills
- M.Sc. in Mathematics (required)
- Strong command of school-level and foundation-level Mathematics
- Clear communication in English and the ability to explain concepts simply
- Patience and a genuine interest in teaching young students
- Prior teaching or coaching experience is preferred; freshers with strong subject knowledge are welcome to apply
Schedule
- Part-time, about 10–15 hours per week (tentative)
- Classes on some weekdays and some weekends, as per the batch timetable
Remuneration
- Best in the industry, in line with qualifications and experience
Pay: ₹9,800.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
