Qualification:
- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering
or
- M.Sc in Biomedical Science / Biomedical Instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain biomedical equipment and instruments.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, calibration, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate with service providers for repairs.
- Maintain equipment records, service reports, AMC/CMC details, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Coordinate with clinical and technical departments regarding equipment requirements and issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Assist in procurement, evaluation,
and replacement of biomedical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on equipment status, maintenance, and breakdowns.
- Coordinate with vendors and service engineers for technical support.
