The Tool & Die / Mould Maker is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing precision moulds used in production. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Injection Plastic Moulds and Blow Moulds, along with machining, fitting, and troubleshooting skills to ensure smooth production and minimum downtime.
2. Key Responsibilities (R&R;)
A. Mould Manufacturing & Assembly
- Manufacture mould components as per drawings and design specifications
- Assemble injection and blow moulds with high precision
- Ensure proper fitting of cores, cavities, sliders, ejector systems, and cooling lines
- Perform bench fitting, spotting, and finishing of mould parts
B. Mould Maintenance
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of moulds
- Repair worn-out, damaged, or broken mould components
- Maintain mould performance to reduce rejection and downtime
- Maintain mould history records and maintenance logs
- Identify mould-related issues during production (flash, short shot,
mismatch, etc.)
- Support production team in solving mould problems
- Modify moulds based on improvement requirements
E. Quality & Precision
- Check dimensions using measuring instruments:
- Vernier caliper
- Micrometer
- Height gauge
- Dial gauge
- Ensure mould parts meet tolerance and surface finish standards
F. Safety & 5S
- Follow Tool Room safety procedures
- Maintain 5S standards in work area
- Proper handling and storage of tools and mould components
3. Required Knowledge
- Injection Plastic Mould structure & working
- Blow Mould construction
- Mould cooling systems and ejection systems
- Tool steels and materials used in mould making
- Reading engineering drawings
- Tolerance and fits knowledge

5. Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making / Machinist / Fitter

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
