Job Summary

Navera Builders Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager with robust experience in builders, construction companies, or real estate companies. The candidate will be responsible for managing the overall accounting function, project-wise financial tracking, statutory compliance, vendor and contractor accounts, collections, payments, and financial reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management

- Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Supervise and review accounting entries, ledgers, journals, vouchers, and financial records.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, bank balances, receivables, and payables.
- Conduct regular bank, cash, customer, and vendor reconciliations.

Construction / Builder Accounting

- Manage project-wise and site-wise accounting for construction projects.
- Review and verify contractor, subcontractor, supplier, and service bills.
- Monitor construction material purchases and project-related expenses.
- Track project advances, contractor payments, supplier payments, and settlements.
- Monitor project budgets versus actual expenses.
- Maintain proper records of site expenses and project advances.
- Coordinate with Project, Purchase, Stores, Sales, and Site teams for financial matters.




- Ensure proper accounting of land, construction, development, and project-related expenses.

Receivables & Collections

- Monitor customer outstanding balances and collections.
- Prepare customer ageing and outstanding reports.
- Coordinate with the Sales and CRM/Collections teams regarding customer payments.
- Ensure timely accounting and reconciliation of customer receipts.
- Monitor advances, instalments, and other customer-related transactions.

Payables & Vendor Management

- Review supplier and contractor outstanding statements.
- Verify bills before processing payments.
- Maintain vendor and contractor ledgers.
- Ensure timely payments while maintaining proper cash-flow control.
- Reconcile vendor and contractor accounts regularly.

GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate GST and TDS compliance.
- Review GST input/output transactions and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely filing of applicable statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

Team Management

- Supervise and guide the Accounts team.
- Allocate accounting responsibilities and monitor daily work.




- Review the team's accounting entries and reports.
- Ensure accounting procedures and internal controls are properly followed.
- Train team members on accounting processes and company procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management.
- Excellent knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in project-wise/site-wise accounting.
- Strong knowledge of contractor, vendor, and customer reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of cash-flow management and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.

Experience

5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

Mandatory: Experience in builders, construction companies, real estate companies, or property development companies.

Candidates with strong experience in construction project accounting, contractor billing, site expenses, project costing, and real-estate customer accounting will be preferred.
