- Operate surface grinding machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements.
- Set and operate the machine as per the job requirements.
- Select and dress grinding wheels suitable for the material and machining requirement.
- Carry out grinding operations to achieve required dimensions, flatness, parallelism, and surface finish..
- Identify and report dimensional deviations, surface defects, machine abnormalities, or other quality issues.
- Coordinate with the Tool Room / Quality / Production team for any technical or quality-related issues.
- Follow company SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, Tool & Die, or equivalent qualification.




- Experience in surface grinding / precision grinding is preferred.
- Knowledge of surface grinding machine operation and grinding processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Understanding of tolerances, flatness, parallelism, perpendicularity, and surface finish.
- Basic knowledge of grinding wheels, wheel dressing, and grinding parameters.
- Positive attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Ability to work in shifts.

Experience

3–8 years of relevant experience in surface grinding / precision machining is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
