Job Summary
We are looking for a high-calibre Chartered Accountant with strong experience in Investor Relations, M&A;, Corporate Finance, Fund Raising and Strategic Finance. The role will work closely with senior management and support engagement with investors, analysts, financial institutions and transaction advisors.
The position requires strong financial understanding, commercial acumen, financial modelling skills and the ability to translate business performance into clear, actionable insights and an effective investment narrative.
Key ResponsibilitiesInvestor Relations & Capital Markets
- Manage regular engagement with institutional investors, equity analysts and financial institutions.
- Support quarterly investor and analyst calls, including presentations, Q&A; preparation and investor FAQs.
- Develop investor presentations, earnings communications, management talking points and financial narratives.
- Coordinate investor meetings, conferences and domestic/international roadshows.
- Track investor and analyst feedback and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Monitor shareholding patterns, institutional activity, peer performance, valuation multiples and market expectations.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's equity story, competitive positioning and key valuation drivers.
M&A; and Due Diligence
- Support M&A;, acquisitions, divestments and strategic investment initiatives.
- Lead or coordinate financial aspects of due diligence, including financial analysis, quality of earnings, working capital, debt, cash flows and contingent liabilities.
- Prepare investment evaluation models, valuation analyses, business cases and transaction scenarios.
- Work closely with investment bankers,
transaction advisors, legal advisors and external consultants.
- Support management in evaluating strategic rationale, synergies, risks and value-creation opportunities.
Fund Raising and Corporate Finance
- Support equity, debt and structured financing initiatives.
- Assist in preparing Information Memorandums, investor materials, financial models and transaction documents.
- Evaluate alternative sources and structures of capital and their impact on cost of capital, leverage, dilution and shareholder value.
- Coordinate with banks, investors, rating agencies, advisors and financial institutions.
Strategic Finance and Business Analysis
- Conduct business and strategic analysis to support management decision-making.
- Analyse business performance, profitability, cash generation, capital allocation and return on capital.
- Develop scenario analyses, financial models and strategic business cases.
- Track industry trends, competitors, emerging business models and market developments.
- Identify growth opportunities, risks, strategic gaps and value-creation opportunities.
- Support the CFO and senior management on strategic projects and special assignments.
Management and Board Support
- Prepare management and Board-level financial and strategic presentations.
- Convert complex financial and business information into explicit, concise and decision-oriented insights.
- Support preparation of materials for Board meetings, investor interactions and strategic reviews.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business, Sales, Operations,
Legal and other functions.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong exposure to Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, M&A;, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, FP&A; or Strategy.
- Hands-on experience in financial due diligence and financial analysis.
- Exposure to M&A;, fund raising or capital markets transactions.
- Experience in preparing and participating in investor or analyst calls and management presentations.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Excellent understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and key financial ratios.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with senior management, investors, analysts, bankers and advisors.
