Study Route is looking for a motivated and experienced Admission Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students regarding study-abroad opportunities, understanding their requirements, and guiding them through the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities, courses, colleges/universities, and countries.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences.
- Handle student enquiries and follow up with prospective students.
- Convert leads into successful admissions.
- Explain admission requirements, application procedures, and documentation.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students and parents.
- Coordinate with internal teams for application processing and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications.
- Stay updated on university admissions, courses, intakes, and study-abroad programs.
- Achieve individual and team admission/conversion targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in admission counselling / study-abroad counselling / education sales will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good counselling and convincing abilities.
- Target-oriented and proactive approach.
- Ability to handle students and parents professionally.
- Knowledge of study-abroad destinations and admission processes will be an advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
