Mehr & Co. is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Magazine Designer to work with us on designing visually appealing, premium magazines for our clients.
Our magazines are created around memories, events, travel, weddings, birthdays, celebrations, brands, businesses and more. We’re looking for someone with a strong visual sense who can turn photographs and content into beautiful, well-designed magazine layouts.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing magazine pages and complete magazine layouts
- Working with photographs, text, typography and different visual styles
- Creating designs according to different themes, events and client requirements
- Maintaining a clean, premium and editorial aesthetic
- Making revisions based on feedback
- Occasionally helping with related social media creatives and content design
What we’re looking for
- Strong sense of aesthetics and visual composition
- Good understanding of typography,
layouts and spacing
- Creative eye and attention to detail
- Ability to work with different themes and styles
- Good knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar design tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- A good portfolio showcasing your design work
Work Type
Freelance / Project-based
This can be an ongoing opportunity, with multiple magazine projects and regular work depending on upcoming orders.
