Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager – PHE / Fire Fighting with strong hands-on experience in PHE and Fire Fighting system design for large-scale EPC, Data Center, MEP, Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Commercial or Industrial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Water Supply, Drainage, STP, Fire Fighting, Fire Suppression, Hydrant, Sprinkler and Fire Pump systems, along with experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and review detailed PHE and Fire Fighting designs, layouts, schematics and design calculations.
- Design and coordinate water supply, drainage and STP systems.
- Design Fire Fighting / Fire Suppression systems, including hydrant, sprinkler and fire pump systems.
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, technical submittals, equipment specifications and material requisitions.
- Carry out equipment selection and coordinate technical requirements with vendors.
- Develop and review pipe support arrangements and system schematics.
- Coordinate PHE/FF designs with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, HVAC and other MEP disciplines.
- Resolve technical queries raised by clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors and site teams.
- Provide technical design support during procurement, construction, execution and commissioning.
- Conduct design self-checks, peer reviews and technical quality checks.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable NBC, NFPA, IS Codes/Standards and project specifications.




- Manage multiple projects and coordinate with different project stakeholders to meet project timelines.

Required Experience

- 10–20 years of total experience in Design & Engineering.
- Strong hands-on PHE + Fire Fighting design experience is mandatory.
- Experience in multidisciplinary MEP design coordination.
- Experience handling clients, consultants, vendors and site teams.
- Candidates from EPC, Data Center, MEP, Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Commercial or Industrial projects will be preferred.
- Candidates should have experience in design review, technical documentation and project coordination.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for candidates who have worked on PHE as well as Fire Fighting design, rather than candidates with experience limited only to site execution, plumbing installation or fire safety supervision.

Strong design knowledge of Water Supply + Drainage + STP + Fire Fighting / Fire Suppression systems will be highly preferred.
