The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for independently managing and overseeing the complete accounting and finance functions of the organization. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing receivables and payables, invoicing, banking, GST and statutory compliance, financial reporting, cash-flow monitoring, internal controls, and supporting management in financial decision-making.
The position requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, financial reporting, accounting software, and excellent attention to detail. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all financial activities are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and oversee the complete Accounts & Finance function of the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare, verify, and issue sales invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Record and verify purchase invoices, expenses, income, receipts, and payment transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable, customer outstanding, collections, and ageing reports.
- Manage accounts payable, supplier outstanding, and payment schedules.
- Handle daily banking transactions and perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash, cash transactions, and maintain proper supporting documents.
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely statutory compliance.
- Monitor tax payments, statutory deadlines, and other applicable financial compliances.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and management reports.
- Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, expense reports, receivables, payables, and cash-flow reports.
- Monitor company cash flow, working capital, income, and expenses.
- Review and reconcile customer, supplier, bank, and general ledger accounts.
- Establish and maintain proper accounting procedures, documentation, and internal financial controls.
- Verify purchase orders, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Production, Warehouse, HR, and Administration departments on finance-related matters.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and statutory authorities when required.
- Support internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits by providing required records and documents.
- Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
- Identify accounting discrepancies, financial risks, and unusual transactions and report them to management.
- Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior accounts staff, if applicable.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information and company records.
- Provide accurate financial information and analysis to the Managing Director/Management for decision-making.
- Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and within prescribed timelines.
- Take complete responsibility for the smooth and effective functioning of the Accounts & Finance Department.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Experience in independently handling the complete accounts function of an organization is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing company will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in GST, audits, financial reporting, cash-flow management, and team supervision are preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
