We are looking for a Protein Engineering Scientist to support research involving protein design, engineering, expression, purification, characterisation, and computational protein engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Support protein engineering research projects.
- Review protein design and engineering strategies.
- Review site-directed mutagenesis, directed evolution, and protein optimisation approaches.
- Review recombinant protein expression and purification methodologies.
- Analyse protein characterisation and functional assay results.
- Support computational protein design and structural biology projects where applicable.
- Conduct literature reviews and identify research gaps.
- Support manuscript preparation and publication.
- Address technical reviewer/client comments.
Required Educational Background
- Master's or PhD in Protein Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Structural Biology, or related field.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in protein engineering, protein biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields.
