Hack and Learn Cyber Academy is looking for a Cyber Security Trainer to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

We are looking for passionate cybersecurity professionals who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and helping students build practical skills for careers in cybersecurity.

Candidates with experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, penetration testing, VAPT, web application security, network security, SOC, or related areas are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct cybersecurity and ethical hacking training for students, graduates, and working professionals.
- Deliver practical, hands-on training through demonstrations, labs, exercises, projects, and CTF challenges.
- Teach cybersecurity fundamentals, ethical hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security concepts.
- Provide practical training in areas such as web application security, API security, network security, Active Directory, Linux, Windows, cloud security, SOC, and other cybersecurity domains.
- Guide students through reconnaissance, enumeration, vulnerability assessment, exploitation, privilege escalation, security testing, and reporting in authorized lab environments.
- Teach commonly used cybersecurity tools and techniques, including Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus/OpenVAS, Gobuster, ffuf, SQLMap, BloodHound, PowerShell, Python, and other relevant tools.
- Explain OWASP Top 10 and practical web application security testing.
- Mentor students in cybersecurity projects, CTFs, assignments, security research, and career development.
- Create and maintain practical labs, exercises, assignments, and training materials.
- Assess student performance and provide technical guidance and feedback.
- Keep training content updated with current cybersecurity technologies, vulnerabilities, tools, and industry practices.





REQUIREMENTS

- Good knowledge of cybersecurity and information security concepts.
- Knowledge of ethical hacking, penetration testing, VAPT, or other cybersecurity domains.
- Good understanding of commonly used cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students learn cybersecurity.
- Freshers with solid practical cybersecurity knowledge and experienced cybersecurity professionals are welcome to apply.
- Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage but is not mandatory.

CERTIFICATIONS

Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, Security+, eJPT, eCPPT, OSCP/OSCP+, PNPT, CRTP, CRTO, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are an advantage but are not mandatory.

Candidates with practical knowledge, cybersecurity projects, CTF experience, bug bounty experience, home labs, GitHub projects, or hands-on security experience are encouraged to apply.
