Job Title: Jr. Engineer Mech Design

Full Job Overview

We are looking for Jr. Engineer Mechanical Design to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a B.tech in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience in CAD 2D/3D Assembly Design.

Qualifications

- B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (CAD Certification of 2D/3D is an added advantage)
- Work Experience: 2-3 yrs in Mechanical Design

Responsibilities

- Design mechanical Assembly as per the System specifications and functional requirements.
- Ensure the conceptual alignment from the early stages of mechanical designs to provide constant safety, reliability, quality, and manufacturability.
- Conduct concept development and feasibility studies and adopt mechanical design modules engineering approaches to maintain balancing performance, quality, cost, and timelines.
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and design documentation as per engineering standards.
- Support product development through DFM/DFA and FEM/FEA.




- Ensure mechanical designs meet applicable product certification and country-specific regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electronics, firmware, industrial design, manufacturing, and quality.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, CAD modeling, and manufacturing drawings.
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Catia, Creo/Pro-E or equivalent.
- Hands-on implementation of DFMEA.
- Good understanding of engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design validation.
- Understanding of mechanical product development processes, engineering standards, and manufacturing methods.
- Strong problem-solving and system-thinking mindset, with attention to detail and design quality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain and advocate for design decisions.
