Job Summary

Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, networks, software, printers, and other IT equipment. The role also involves data entry, document preparation, system monitoring, user support, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of computer and office systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, operate, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and basic network-related problems.
- Install and update operating systems, drivers, antivirus software, and required applications.
- Perform data entry, document preparation, printing, scanning, photocopying, and file management.
- Maintain computer systems, databases, digital records, and backups.
- Provide basic technical support and assistance to staff/users.
- Monitor computer systems and ensure their proper functioning.
- Configure and troubleshoot basic LAN, internet, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity issues.
- Maintain records of IT equipment, repairs, software installations, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure data security, confidentiality, and proper use of computer resources.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.




- Coordinate with external IT/service providers when specialized technical support is required.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures related to IT security and equipment usage.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of LAN, networking, internet, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Ability to install and configure software and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of antivirus, backup, and data-security practices.
- Valuable communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Computer, IT, Electronics, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant computer certification or practical experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in computer operation, technical support, hardware/software troubleshooting, or a similar role is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
