Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Design Engineer responsible for designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, residential, and other MEP projects. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of HVAC design, calculations, equipment selection, ducting, piping, and coordination with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems based on project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Perform cooling load calculations and determine required HVAC capacities.
- Design and size ducting, chilled-water piping, refrigerant piping, and ventilation systems.
- Select HVAC equipment such as AHU, FCU, Chillers, VRF/VRV systems, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Fans, and Exhaust Systems.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, schematic drawings, equipment schedules, and design documents.
- Prepare and review HVAC drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
- Calculate and verify airflow, duct velocity, pressure drop, ESP, pipe sizing, and pump head.
- Design fresh-air, ventilation, and exhaust systems as per project requirements.
- Coordinate HVAC layouts with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting disciplines.
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, equipment selections, and material specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues during project execution.




- Provide technical support to the site/project team during installation and commissioning.
- Review contractor/vendor drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Prepare BOQ, material schedules, and quantity take-offs when required.
- Ensure designs meet applicable project specifications, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in value engineering and optimization of HVAC systems.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design and engineering principles.
- Good understanding of cooling load calculations.
- Knowledge of duct and pipe sizing methods.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment selection and performance parameters.
- Understanding of ASHRAE, NBC, SMACNA and relevant HVAC standards.
- Good knowledge of HVAC drawings and design documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of Revit MEP will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HVAC calculation methods.
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in HVAC design.
- Experience in MEP consultancy, contracting, commercial buildings, industrial projects, or turnkey projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
