DevOps Engineer_Job Description-

Key Responsibilities

- Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
- Manage Cloudflare: DNS, CDN, SSL, firewall (WAF) rules, and caching.
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar), with dashboards and alerts.
- Respond to alerts and incidents, find the cause, and fix or escalate quickly.
- Build and maintain Jenkins pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
- Build Docker images and run containerized applications.
- Write Bash or Python scripts to automate routine work.
- Document runbooks and keep dashboards and alert rules up to date.

Required Skills

- 1-2 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
- Working knowledge of Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, WAF).
- Experience with a monitoring tool such as Grafana, Prometheus, Atatus, or CloudWatch.
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines.
- Experience with Docker.
- Comfortable with Linux, Git, and basic Bash or Python scripting.

Good to Have





- Kubernetes basics.
- Terraform or Ansible.
- Log tools such as ELK or Loki.
- AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate).

Qualifications and Soft Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability, with a calm approach during incidents.
- Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working with development and QA teams.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and take ownership of tasks end to end.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time across multiple tasks.
